Project
Flap Project is a gold prospect and is approximately 3,440 hectares (8,500 acres) in size.
Location
The property is composed of 8 claims located in the Tadpole Lake area, Nicola Mining Division, British Columbia.
Ownership
Goldrea Resources Corporation (50%) & Molycor Gold Corporation (50%).
Property Background
The Company and Molycor each acquired by staking
an undivided 50% joint venture interest in eight two-post
mineral claims in the Nicola Mining Division, British Columbia. Trenching by the previous companies in 1996 encountered wide spread
mineralization grading up to 0.285 opt gold over 13.0 meters. Surface sampling returned up to .770 oz/ton gold and 8.7 oz/ton silver
over a one metre section. The mineralized zone measures approximately 200x300 meters with a depth of 230 meters. The property has the
potential of hosting open-pittable reserves grading 1-1.5 g/t Au. There is a potential for a low grade (0.05 oz/ton) bulk tonnage 25-30
million tons open pittable deposit in this area (300 x 300 metres) which remains open in both directions. The high grades of 0.77 oz
gold/ton from surface sampling and up to 2.25 oz/ton over a metre in a diamond drill hole necessitate bulk sampling to determine a better
estimate of overall grade to be expected.
